By “personal data”, essentially we mean any information about you that could be used to help identify you. This will include information such as your name, email address, telephone number and profile picture. You can find a definition of “personal data” in section 1 of the Data Protection Act 1998.
1.1.1 Buyer: A user who uses the UniTaskr platform to purchase services.
1.1.2 Seller: A student who sells services through the UniTaskr App by accepting tasks.
1.1.3 Users: Buyers and Sellers and anyone who uses the UniTaskr App or visits the UniTaskr Website.
1.1.4 Post a Task: When a buyer sends out a job. This job will appear on the students ‘Jobs Available’ list.
1.1.5 Request: a request for services made by a Buyer to a Seller on the UniTaskr App.
1.1.6 Profile: your personal profile which contains details such as your profile photograph and your name which can be viewed by anyone using the UniTaskr App.
1.1.7 Service(s): any tasks, help, assistance, training or services that are offered by a Seller and/or requested by a Buyer, including but not limited to cleaning, maintenance, cooking, gardening, hairdressing, fitness, technology help, hair and beauty, tutoring and language assistance and more.
2. SCOPE OF POLICY
2.1 This policy (together with our terms of service as set out at (Terms of Service) applies to your use of:
2.1.1 The UniTaskr App, once you have downloaded a copy of the UniTaskr App onto your mobile telephone or handheld device (Device); and
2.1.2 The UniTaskr Website. (together, the Platform).
2.2 For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998, the data controller is UniDosh Ltd., a limited company registered in the UK with company number 9931345, a registered office at 3 Duchess Cresent, Stanmore, Middlesex, United Kingdom, HA7 3GH.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
3.1 We will collect and process the following data about you:
3.2 We may receive personal contact details from you, such as your name, user name, telephone number, email address and other personal information including without limitation your gender, age, date of birth, country of residence and a profile when:
3.2.1 you register with the Platform, at which point you will be asked to provide a username, your telephone number and other optional information including a profile photograph (Profile Content);
3.2.2 you update your settings and preferences in the UniTaskr App;
3.2.3 you fill in any forms on the Platform;
3.2.4 make a Post Task, Accept a Job or confirm a booking;
3.2.5 you send or receive messages from another User (Message Content)
3.2.6 you respond to our direct marketing activities (by “direct marketing”, we mean the communication to you, by whatever means, of any advertising or marketing material, but excluding in-app advertising);
3.2.7 you correspond with us by post or email or via the UniTaskr App;
3.2.8 you report a problem with the Platform or make a complaint about a third party’s Message Content or Profile Content, which we refer to collectively as User Content; or
3.2.9 you or your User Content is reported to us by another user of the Platform or a third party.
3.3 We may also automatically collect information about you and your device each time you visit the Platform, such as:
3.3.1 technical information, including the type of mobile device you use, a unique device identifier (for example, your Device's IMEI number, the MAC address of the Device's wireless network interface, or the mobile phone number used by the Device);
3.3.2 mobile network information, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile browser you use, time zone setting or your IP address (Device Information);
3.3.3 information stored on your Device, including contact information and login information (Content Information); and
3.3.4 details of your use of the UniTaskr App or your visits to the UniTaskr Website including, but not limited to traffic data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access (Log Information).
3.3.5 Information we receive from other sources (Third Party Information). We may work closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies).
3.3.6 Unique application numbers: when you install or uninstall the UniTaskr App or when it searches for automatic updates, its unique application number and information about your installation, for example, the type of operating system, may be sent to us.
3.4 Our Platform may only be used by those individuals who are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users who are under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, you are not permitted to use the Platform and are therefore requested not to use or register with the Platform or provide any personal information to the Platform. If you are the parent of a child under the age of 16 and you believe that your child has registered with us or is otherwise using our Platform, please contact us using the contact details below at clause 12 so that we may take steps to deactivate your child’s access to the Platform.
4. USES MADE OF THE INFORMATION
4.1 We may use information collected from you under clause 3 above, such as your Device Information, your Content Information and your Log Information, in the following ways:
4.1.1 to administer and process your registration, if you choose to register with the Platform;
4.1.2 to keep your UniTaskr Account updated;
4.1.3 to display your Profile to other Users of the Platform;
4.1.4 to allow other Users to contact you via the UniTaskr App;
4.1.5 to inform you when you have received a message from another User;
4.1.6 to inform you when a User has made responded to a job application;
4.1.7 to inform you when a User has marked the Service as complete;
4.1.8 to inform you of a review that has been left in relation to a Service you provided;
4.1.9 in order to collate an average rating for your Profile from reviews left from other Users;
4.1.10 to inform you of a complaint that has been made about you or to update you in relation to a complaint you have made;
4.1.11 to review any complaints made about you or to gather further information regarding a dispute;
4.1.12 to administer and maintain our records and systems;
4.1.13 to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us;
4.1.14 to contact you for market research purposes or to notify you about changes to the Platform;
4.1.15 to improve the Platform and to ensure that content from the Platform is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer or mobile device;
4.1.16 to help us in our efforts to keep the Platform safe and secure;
4.1.17 to verify your identity and to respond to any query that you may raise with us;
4.1.18 to fulfil any contractual obligations we have with you; and
4.1.19 to provide you with information about other goods and services that we offer that are similar or related to the Platform.
4.2 We treat all message content as private, but if it is the subject of a complaint by you or another User, then we may review it in accordance with the complaints and investigation procedure set out in our Terms of Service. Message Content is stored on the servers for the purposes of delivering messages to the relevant recipients and for restoring message histories in the event of technical problems. Message Content is stored and available to you for at least as long as you remain a registered user and thereafter will be deleted from our servers in accordance with our retention policy in clause 8.
4.3 We use your device ID to identify you if you re-install the UniTaskr App on your mobile device after you have uninstalled it. We use information about your operating system to ensure that the correct push notification system is used when we send you push notifications (if you have agreed to receive them). We also use the information we collect about your mobile device and computer to assist us in providing an effective service on the UniTaskr App and the UniTaskr Website and to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. You cannot be identified from this information.
4.4 We may associate any category of information with any other category of information and will treat the combined information as personal data in accordance with this policy for as long as it is combined.
5. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
5.1 We do not disclose your information to any third parties for direct marketing purposes without your permission. In particular, we do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to any advertisers. However, we may provide advertisers with anonymised aggregate information to help them reach the kind of audience they want to target. This is statistical data about our Users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual. For example, we may inform them that 1,000 women have clicked on their advertisement on any given day.
5.2 We may share your information with third party companies and organisations contracted to us to help supply, maintain or facilitate the Platform. These third parties may include without limitation IT support teams. Such third parties are under an obligation to use your information only in accordance with our instructions and for the purpose of complying with their obligations to us.
5.3 Your information may be used by us for the purpose of research and statistical analysis and internal customer service monitoring.
5.5 We may disclose your information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.
5.6 We may disclose any of your information (including your identity, contact details, message content, reviews and activity on the Platform) to third parties if we are under a duty to do so in order to comply with any legal or regulatory obligation, for example, to law enforcement authorities or in response to a court order. We may disclose any of your information on the request of your or another User's University or college if reasonable to do so.
5.7 We may disclose your information to third parties if we reasonably believe that disclosure of your information to third parties is necessary in order to enforce or apply any of our terms and conditions and other agreements; or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of our users or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection.
5.8 If we refer any dispute between us to the ODR Platform http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr , and/or we agree to engage in any alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedure with you through the ODR Platform, then to the extent that your personal data is relevant to the dispute we may disclose it to the European Commission, as operator of the ODR Platform, and to any ADR provider appointed to deal with the dispute.
5.9 We may disclose your information in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets and their advisers. If our business is sold your details will be passed onto the new owners of the business.
5.10 The period of use of the information supplied by you will not be longer than we deem necessary, but may be unlimited.
6. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
6.1 All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers in the UK or European Economic Area.
6.2 Any payment transactions are carried out by Stripe and we do not store any financial information. If you choose to save your card details through Stripe , UniTaskr will store an 'access token' which is linked to your payment method and will allow you to make further purchases without re-entering your card details.
6.3 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use adequate procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
6.4 We will collect and store personal data on your Device using application data caches and [browser web storage (including HTML 5) OR [ALTERNATIVE MECHANISMS]] and other technology.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. 8. deleting or amending information and withdrawing consent
8.1 Please be aware that simply uninstalling the UniTaskr App from your mobile device will not delete your UniTaskr Account. Your account will remain active until you deactivate it manually under your settings within the app. A user can also email help@UniTaskr.comn to request a manual deactivation.
8.3 If any of the information that you have provided to us changes, or if you simply wish to amend or delete such information from your UniTaskr Account, the way that you do this will depend on the type of information concerned. If at any time you wish to amend or delete any of the optional Profile Content you have provided to us, such as your profile photograph, you can do so in the “Settings” menu within the UniTaskr App.
8.4 Some information you provide to us, such as your email address, is mandatory, because we cannot provide the Service to you without it.
9. THIRD PARTY SITES
9.1 The Platform may, from time to time, contain links to and from the third party websites (including, but not limited to, websites on which the UniTaskr App is advertised). If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites and any services that may be accessible through them have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or for any personal data that may be collected through these websites or services, such as contact and location data. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites or use these services.
10. ACCESS TO INFORMATION
10.1 The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with that Act. Any access request will be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
If you would no longer like to receive emails from us and our partners, you may opt-out. This will remove your information from our database, and will prevent you from receiving any future marketing emails from UniTaskr, this is inline with GDPR legislations beginning 25th May 2017. Should we not hear from you before the 25th May 2017, we will assume that you have decided to opt-out of receiving further marketing emails. If you wish to cancel your account, please contact us at help@UniTaskr.com.
If you opt-in we may occasionally contact you with information about special events, sales, activities, promotions, contests, submission opportunities and programs. We may still be required to send you emails regarding transactional or service information. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
12. ACCESSING & EDITING PERSONAL INFORMATION
UniTaskr believes strongly in giving you the ability to access and edit your Personal Information. To update your Personal Information, Visit ‘My Account’ which can be located in the bottom navigation bar within the UniTaskr app. Here you can view, update and edit your account information. There are no limits to how many times you can update or edit your account settings. However you will need to be logged in to do so.
Should you like to change information you cannot access through your account. Please contact us at privacy@UniTaskr.com,we will then explain how to access and change the information you cannot access through your account.
UniTaskr - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the use of the platform offered by UniDosh Ltd. The website and the mobile application are collectively referred to as UniTaskr (hereinafter referred to as (“we, us, our, company, UniTaskr”)
UniTaskr is the current, registered trading name for UniDosh Ltd. UniDosh Ltd is a registered company incorporated in England and Wales, (Company Number - 09931345)
UniTaskr provides students with a platform that allows them to connect with members of the public and businesses who require tasks, jobs and services. UniTaskr provides members of the public and businesses with a platform that connects them with students who can help them get jobs done.
These Services are available to purchase through our mobile application.
In order to utilize the UniTaskr platform, you will need to confirm that you have read and agreed to the Terms of Service. Once agreed you will become bound by them as a registered user for as long as you continue to utilize the UniTaskr platform. The terms of Service are a legally binding agreement between yourself and UniTaskr.
The terms stated below will be governed and should any terms be broken by a member, the members access to the application may be disbarred.
If you do not agree to these terms, you will not be granted access to our mobile application.UniTaskr is a marketplace that has two halves. One side is strictly for students and the other side is for members of the public and businesses. UniTaskr offers a platform that allows students to find work and accept jobs. UniTaskr is built up of the sellers (seeking to provide a service they believe others may find helpful at a reasonable price) and buyers (anybody seeking to book a service or request a task at a reasonable price). UniTaskr acts as the link between these two parties.
When a buyer proceeds with a request for a service, their request appears on a job board called ‘Available Jobs’. This job board is only visible to students.
Once a service has been completed and the buyer has confirmed they are happy to pay, UniTaskr collects payment from the buyer and pays the seller. We take a commission for enabling connections between the buyers and sellers, and this commission is taken at the same time the seller is paid. UniTaskr does not allow for cash transactions.
It is free to register with UniTaskr as a buyer and seller, and it is free to register a service on our database as a seller once an agreement to the terms of service have been accepted. UniTaskr requires certain information, including your name, university, university email address, and an up to date picture of yourself. As a seller, in order to accept a job and/or register a service, you must verify that you have a student email address. This verification will be removed once a year and you will be asked to re-verify your student identity. This is remove any individuals who may have graduated, dropped out or left university/college for any other reason.
You understand and agree that UniTaskr acts as an agent and is not a party to agreements entered into between sellers and buyers. No contract exists between UniTaskr and the students for the services. UniTaskr is not an employment agency or contracted agency and has no control over the conduct or suitability of buyers and sellers to post or complete the jobs, and that satisfactory completion of a job is solely determined between the parties. It is a condition of use of the services that the parties acknowledge they have complete control over their own conduct and the outcome of the services, and UniTaskr disclaims all liability in this regard.
In order to register as a student with UniTaskr you must be a current student at university or college . Proof of your student status is required before you are able to accept a job or enlist a service. We reserve the right to refuse access to the UniTaskr platform to any individual at any time without explanation.
Verification of the account will not be authorised until the student has confirmed acceptance which will be sent via email to their University email address ending in "ac.uk."
A clear photo of the student is required to sign up to allow a customer to verify that the student completing the service, is in fact; the student they booked.
As a user of the Services you agree to the following:
When receiving and completing a service you assume all risks, including, but not limited to, any risks associated with interacting with other people. We are not able to guarantee the accuracy of information provided to you by other people. We cannot confirm that each user is who they claim to be and therefore, UniTaskr cannot and does not assume any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of identity or background check information.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. You understand that UniTaskr currently does not conduct criminal background checks or screenings on its users. We do not inquire into the backgrounds of its users or attempt to verify the statements of its users. UniTaskr makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct of users or their compatibility with other users.
The company is not responsible for the conduct of any user. In no event shall UniTaskr, its affiliates or its partners be liable (directly or indirectly) for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else in connection with the use of the app including, without limitation, death, bodily injury, emotional distress, and/or any other damages resulting from communications or meetings with other users you meet through the app or website. You understand that UniTaskr makes no guarantees, either expressed or implied, regarding your overall experience with another user, the quality of service provided, and your safety when completing a service or receiving a service from another user.
You will not use UniTaskr, or engage in activity on the UniTaskr mobile applications or website that, in any way:
As a seller, it is free to add your services to the app. UniTaskr takes a small commission once the service has been completed, this commission is in the form of a 10% deduction from your earnings on that job.
As a student wishing to become a seller, you are shown a list of categories from which you can create job alerts. Following setting up job alerts, a student will be notified when a job fitting the alert description is posted.
A seller shall only offer their services if, to the best of their knowledge they are capable of providing the service to a standard high enough to be acceptable to meet the needs of the buyer.
If you provide a service that the customer believes to be inadequate, the customer can leave negative feedback, which will affect your overall rating and thus reducing the likelihood of repeat and future bookings.
If there are additional expenses directly relating to a job, the seller should add the cost to the price they set in for the job within the app, and then explain the costs within the in app messenger. This policy does not apply to cleaning products. The buyer should supply cleaning products and all materials to enable the job to be completed satisfactorily.
If a seller cancels on a buyer, the buyer has the option to report the seller. UniTaskr account managers will seek to find a replacement seller immediately.
If a buyer cancels on a seller, the seller has the option to report the buyer. UniTaskr account managers will look into the matter and decide whether a cancellation fee should be put in place.
Users of the app will be required to set up a stripe account in order to purchase services. UniTaskr do not hold any credit card or bank account information.

Once a service is completed, payment to the UniSeller is activated by both parties within the buyer/seller private message found under ‘Messages’, UniTaskr calculates the final amount to be paid. The payment is then released from the Customer and is sent to the Seller.
The customer agrees to hold sufficient funds in their account to pay the final amount as it becomes due and will not book a service unless they can pay for it. We may, at our sole discretion, not allow a customer to post a job if we are outstanding the payment for prior job(s).
UniTaskr may use Payment Services at our complete discretion to facilitate payment card processing. UniTaskr will ensure that the Payment Services comply with financial and other relevant regulations but will not be responsible for the performance of the Payment Services.
Users, both buyers and seller are asked to review and rate other users after a service is completed.
You agree to provide an accurate and prompt review that is true and fully reflects your experience with the other user who you have engaged with throughout the service.
UniTaskr holds the right to terminate any user’s account given repeatedly poor reviews.
UniTaskr is not responsible for and shall have no liability in relation to any jobs being done or other dealings that are facilitated by Users using UniTaskr.
If a customer is not satisfied with the service that has been provided by a seller, or the seller is not satisfied the customer has described the job properly, both parties may enter into a Dispute. In the event of a Dispute both parties agree to understand that the responsibility for reaching a mutually agreed settlement lies between them.
If at any point during your time on the app or during a service, you feel another user has acted in an appropriate way towards you, including but not limited to offensive, violent or sexually inappropriate behaviour you should immediately make a report to the appropriate authorities and then report them to UniTaskr.
Users of the mobile applications assume all liability for proper classification of workers as independent contractors or employees based on applicable legal guidelines. Users do not have authority to enter into written or oral (whether implied or expressed) contracts on behalf of UniTaskr. Users understand that UniTaskr does not, in any way, supervise, direct or control a Users work or how a User performs. UniTaskr does not set work hours, wage, or location of work. UniTaskr does not provide equipment, labour or materials needed for particular jobs. UniTaskr is not an employment agency. UniTaskr is not a Users employer.
Continuing to use the service following any revisions to this Agreement constitutes your complete and irrevocable acceptance of any and all such changes. UniTaskr may change, modify, suspend or discontinue any aspect of its services at any time without notice or liability. UniTaskr may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts or all of the services UniTaskr offer, without notice or liability.
